I was as greatly stunned as you are when I thought about them but the impetus to write on it was founded on the statement recently credited to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), especially in the heat of the ongoing probe of the diversion of state funds meant to procure ammunitions for the Nigerian Military. Kenyan woman’s body exhumed over unsettled dowry [Photos, Video]
Kisii, Nyamira – Residents of Nyamira County in Kenya were in shock on Thursday after the body of a woman who died before her dowry was paid was exhumed following a court order.
Police supervised the exhumation.
According to the area chief, Alice Kemunto Bundi was married for more than 6 years. Her in-laws confirmed that the dowry had not been settled.

PDP spokesman Olisa Metuh regains his freedom
Olisa Metuh, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) spokesman has finally been released from Kuje Prison on Thursday after meeting his bail conditions.
Metuh, who is facing trial over alleged N400 million fraud, was arrested by operatives of the anti-graft agency from his Abuja home on January 5.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, in a letter to both the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and Speaker, House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, accused the National Assembly of being the cesspool of corruption in the country over the years.
