Dunamis’ Daily Devotional April 2, 2017 by Pastor Paul Enenche – The Riches of God’s Grace

Topic: The Riches of God’s Grace [Sunday April 2, 2017]

Scripture: But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 1 Corinthians 15:10

Thought For The Day: The grace of God covers our errors (weaknesses) and colours our efforts (strengths).

Grace has been defined as God’s unmerited, undeserved favour. God sacrificed His Son Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary to make grace available to us. Grace is God’s seal of approval and acceptance through the Blood of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Our Daily Bread Devotional, April 2, 2017 - Behind the Scenes

Topic: Behind the Scenes [Sunday April 2, 2017]

Read: Daniel 10:1–14, Bible in a Year: Judges 16–18; Luke 7:1–30

Your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. Daniel 10:12

My daughter sent a text message to a friend, in hopes of having a question answered quickly. Her phone’s messaging service showed that the recipient had read the message, so she waited anxiously for a reply. Mere moments passed, yet she grew frustrated, groaning her annoyance at the delay. Irritation eroded into worry; she wondered whether the lack of response meant there was a problem between them. Eventually a reply came and my daughter was relieved to see their relationship was fine. Her friend had simply been sorting out the details needed to answer the question.

9 Things to Know About Crowdfunding

Crowdfunding is a form of crowdsourcing and alternative finance that basically involves funding a project or venture by raising monetary contributions from a large number of people. It allows entrepreneurs raise capital without giving up too much equity. It has over the years become an effective alternative for raising funds for business ideas. Jumia Travel, the leading online travel agency, shares 9 things entrepreneurs should know about crowdfunding to take full advantage of it.

Plan

It is difficult to plan a crowdfunding campaign because you don’t know what to expect and can hardly predict the kind of reaction your campaign might get. Your campaign may or may not go viral but either way, you should be prepared to handle possible press attention and to respond to your growing community. You should be able to manage things immediately as they come up.

And become useful and helpful and kind to one another, tenderhearted…forgiving one another [readily and freely], as God in Christ forgave you. — Ephesians 4:32

The Bible teaches us to forgive “readily and freely.” That is God’s standard for us, no matter how we feel about it. We are to be quick to forgive.

DCLM Daily Manna April 1, 2017 by Pastor Kumuyi – Divine Cleansing

Topic: Divine Cleansing [Saturday April 1, 2017]

Text: Leviticus 14:21-32

Key Verse: "This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to his cleansing" (Leviticus 14:32).

As leprosy is off-putting to people, so is sin odious to God. Our text for today narrates how a person having a leprosy disease could be healed. When somebody plagued with leprosy was identified, he was excluded from the camp. Before he could be called back into the camp, he must have been healed. The plague of leprosy should be healed before the ceremony of purification starts and this has to be done with the sprinkling of blood and water.

Our Daily Bread Devotional, April 1, 2017 - When Yes Means No

Topic: When Yes Means No [Saturday April 1, 2017]

Read: Romans 8:22–28, Bible in a Year: Judges 13–15; Luke 6:27–49

I call on the Lord in my distress, and he answers me. Psalm 120:1

I thanked God for the privilege of serving as my mom’s live-in caregiver during her battle against leukemia. When medicines began to hurt more than help, she decided to stop treatment. “I don’t want to suffer anymore,” she said. “I want to enjoy my last days with family. God knows I’m ready to go home.”

Dunamis’ Daily Devotional April 1, 2017 by Pastor Paul Enenche – The Power of Divine Encounter

Topic: The Power of Divine Encounter [Saturday April 1, 2017]

Scripture: And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. Genesis 32:26-28

Thought For The Day: An encounter with God guarantees total transformation of life and destiny.

The Presence of God is the place of Divine encounter. A man who decides to pitch his tent in the Presence of God experiences Divine encounter. An encounter with God is what makes one to count in life. Jacob, for instance became a notable person in his generation as a result of a Divine encounter.

Winning Wisdom: Teaching Rebellion?

Topic: Teaching Rebellion? [Saturday, 1st April 2017]

Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the Lord. Jeremiah 28:16

Rebellion means conflict, struggle, contravention. To rebel against something or someone therefore means to have conflict with them; to struggle against them; or to contravene their instructions. Every one of us has at one time or the other in our lives rebelled against our parent(s). For some the rebellion was as great as running away from home, while for others it was just simply going against an instruction of theirs. Now, if you were in a situation where during or after your act of rebellion, your parent(s) blamed a friend or some friends of yours as the cause of such rebellion, you’ll remember that they forbade you from ever associating with such friend(s).

Kenneth Copeland’s daily devotional April 1, 2017 - Let Your Life Shout

Topic: Let Your Life Shout [Saturday April 1, 2017]

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. - Psalm 14:1

Most of us would never dream this verse could apply to us. After all, we’re believers! We’d never say that there is no God.

Billy Graham’s daily devotional April 1, 2017 - Glory in the Cross

Topic: Glory in the Cross [Saturday April 1, 2017]

As for me, God forbid that I should boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.Galatians 6:14 (TLB)

What glory is there in the cross? It was an instrument of torture and shame. Why did Paul glory in it? He gloried in it because the most selfless act ever performed by men or angels took place upon it. He saw-emanating from that rough, unartistic beam upon which the Son of God had been crucified-the radiant hope of the world, the end of the believer’s bondage to sin, and the love of God shed abroad in the hearts of men.
