Dunamis’ Daily Devotional May 2, 2017 by Pastor Paul Enenche – The Significance of Spiritual Garment
Topic: The Significance of Spiritual Garment [Tuesday May 2, 2017]
Scripture: Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. Zechariah 3:3
Thought For The Day: A person’s garment can be a mark of his or her authority.
In the realm of the spirit, everyone is considered to be clothed with one form of garment or the other. That is what we see from our anchor Scripture: Joshua the high priest was physically clothed with a dignifying priestly garment to carry out his assignment, but in the spiritual realm, he wore a filthy garment (Zechariah 3:1-5).
Kenneth Copeland’s daily devotional May 2, 2017 - Train Your Spirit
Topic: Train Your Spirit [Tuesday May 2, 2017]
It [grace] has trained us to reject and renounce all ungodliness (irreligion) and worldly (passionate) desires, to live discreet (temperate, self-controlled), upright, devout (spiritually whole) lives in this present world. - Titus 2:12, The Amplified Bible
When an athlete goes into training, he practices to improve his skills. He works hard, repeating the same motions over and over until they become what we’d call “second nature” to him.
Billy Graham’s daily devotional May 2, 2017 - God Is in Nature
Topic: God Is in Nature [Tuesday May 2, 2017]
When I consider thy heavens . . . — Psalm 8:3
To look into a microscope is to see another universe so small that only the electronic microscope can even find it. For instance, it is revealed that one single snowflake in a snowstorm with millions of other snowflakes is the equivalent of twenty billion electrons. Scientists are learning that the miniature world of a single living cell is as astonishing as man himself. God says that we can learn a great deal about Him just by observing nature. Because He has spoken through His universe, all men are without excuse for not believing in Him. This is why the Psalmist said, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God” (Psalm 14:1).

This week, as we round off this teaching, I’ll like to quickly unlock a particular key that makes for an honourable marriage.
A Brand New Eyes

And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink. Genesis 21:19. Read: Jn 9:1-9
The vision is located in our sight. When man is blind physically, he is Limited in so many things of life. In the Bible, you find out that many that were blind turned out to be a beggar. Blind Bartimeuas was a beggar, but when his sight were restored by Jesus Christ, he stopped begging. Mk 10:46-52. The man born blind in our Bible reading was also a beggar, when he also received his sight, he stopped begging too. This means that physical blindness turns one into what he don’t actually want.
Winning Wisdom: Receiving And Experiencing 1
Topic: Receiving And Experiencing 1 [Monday, 1st May 2017]
That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9
To receive means to get something from someone. People have different reasons they give to different people, but the most profound reason is love. If you’ve ever felt love for someone, you’ll notice that whenever that person is in need, all you want to do is provide for them. No matter how little you have, you’ll want to give it to them, to satisfy their needs. If you’ve not noticed that, then we should question your love.

David Abioye's Daily Devotional May 1, 2017 – The Ultimate Satisfaction
Topic: The Ultimate Satisfaction [Monday May 1, 2017]
As for me I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied when I awake with the likeness. - Psalm.17.15
Many people think that what they need is money.
Joyce Meyer's daily devotional May 1 2017 – Use the Keys
Topic: Use the Keys [Monday May 1, 2017]
…They who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord [by right of their need and on the authority of His Word], none of them shall lack any beneficial thing. — Psalm 34:10
Jesus said, I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven (Matthew 16:19).
Open Heavens 1 May 2017: Monday daily devotional by Pastor E. A. Adeboye – Overriding Doubts
Topic: Overriding Doubts [Monday 1, May 2017]
Memorise: Yea, before the day was I am he; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it? – Isaiah 43:13
Read: James 1:5-8 (KJV)
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
DCLM Daily Manna May 1, 2017 by Pastor Kumuyi – Claim God’s Word
Topic: Claim God’s Word [Monday May 1, 2017]
Text: Psalm 119:81-88
Key Verse: "My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word" (Psalm 119:81).
One of the mightiest men of prayer of last generation was George Muller of Bristol, England. When it was laid upon Muller’s heart to pray for anything, he would search the Scriptures to find if there were some promises that captured the case. And when he found a promise, with his Bible opened before him and his finger upon that promise, he would claim God’s word. He thus received whatever he asked for. It is amazing how believers sometimes imagine God to be a forgetful Being.
Kenneth Copeland’s daily devotional May 1, 2017 - Break Through the Wall
Topic: Break Through the Wall [Monday May 1, 2017]
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. - Philippians 4:13
You’re running the race set before you, moving full-speed ahead with God’s blessing overtaking you at every step. Then suddenly, wham! You hit the wall. It may be a wall of sickness or financial trouble, of spiritual failure or family problems. But, regardless of the form it takes, the effect of “the wall” is always the same. It stops you cold.
Dunamis’ Daily Devotional May 1, 2017 by Pastor Paul Enenche – The Pathway to Distinction in Life
Topic: The Pathway to Distinction in Life [Monday May 1, 2017]
Scripture: Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Proverbs 22:29
Thought For The Day: Principles are behind the making of principals.
Many people want to become great in life but few know how to get there. One reason many people remain small in life despite their quest for greatness is the negligence of Divine principles. Principles are behind the making of principals.
Our Daily Bread Devotional, May 1, 2017 - Questions for God
Topic: Questions for God [Monday May 1, 2017]
Read: Judges 6:11–16, 24, Bible in a Year: 1 Kings 10–11; Luke 21:20–38
Go with the strength you have . . . . I will be with you. NLT Judges 6:14, 16
What would you do if the Lord showed up in the middle of your workday with a message? This happened to Gideon, one of the ancient Israelites. “The angel of the Lord appeared to him and said, ‘Mighty hero, the Lord is with you!’ ” Gideon could have responded with a wordless nod and gulp, but instead he said, “If the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us?” (Judg. 6:12–13 nlt). Gideon wanted to know why it seemed as if God had abandoned His people.
Billy Graham’s daily devotional May 1, 2017 - God, the Peacekeeper
Topic: God, the Peacekeeper [Monday May 1, 2017]
He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord! — Isaiah 26:3 (TLB)
You have an ego-a consciousness of being an individual. Of course, you do. But that doesn’t mean that you are to worship yourself, to think constantly of yourself, and to live entirely for yourself. Common sense tells you that your life would be miserable if you followed that course. God is infinitely more concerned about your happiness than you could possibly be. He says, “Deny yourself, and follow me.” There is many a person in the insane asylum today who thought excessively about himself, to the exclusion of God and others. Hypochondriacs who have a fanciful anxiety about their health will never be well, regardless of their physical condition.
