| Pastor William Kumuyi |
Kumuyi, who spoke, yesterday, at Bori, the traditional headquarters of Ogoni, Rivers State, shortly on arrival for a one week revival in the state, said that the February elections would be free and fair, adding that once the direction was cleared and the people know who they want to vote for and their mandate is accepted, there will be no violence.
He encouraged the people not be afraid of the election because God is on the throne, adding that his visit was for a purpose which God will not disappoint.
He noted that with the church programme being hosted in Ogoniland, the challenges of Ogoni people in Rivers State will be a thing of the past as long as the people accept God as their personal savior.
The clergy also called on all the candidates of the various political parties to accept the outcome of the elections even when not in their favour to avert violence.
