TREM’s Daily 25 November 2017 Devotional by Dr. Mike Okonkwo - Expect Only Good

Topic: Expect Only Good — Saturday November 25, 2017.

“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:32 KJV)

If God spared not His Son, why will He keep back what He has prepared for you? Therefore, the question today is: Are you preparing for good or evil? When you prepare for the good, you will attract good. So be a “good magnet”. When you wake up in the morning, confess good and expect good. The Bible says in Proverbs 23:18 (KJV) “For surely there is an end, and thine expectation shall not be cut off.” Good will knock at your door. Only goodness is permitted to follow you. No evil can hold you down. Ever before any evil arrives, God had already completed everything about you.

God does not abandon His project. There is no surprise from the pit of hell. He completed you before you even came into being. When you see people stand tall in spiritual things, it is because of what they know. Daniel 11:32 tells us that the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits. So dig into the word of God and know Him, so you can stand tall and chest out in Him.

Whatever your situation, understand that you are not alone and you cannot be abandoned. God is by you, with you and for you. God began it, it was not your idea. If He began it, He will finish it. So go to bed and trust the God that began this work to perfect it because He is God and God alone. Don’t bother about the evil-doers. You are in Christ. Before they can get to you, they have to go through God and Christ. Fear not because you are in Christ. If you don’t stand your ground, they will make a mess of your faith. So much occultism is parading our world today. So believers must stand their ground for God and He will show up for you. Your tomorrow is bright and your destiny is colourful. Enjoy the goodness of God. I bless you today.
