Don't sacrifice humility, compassion - Awoniyi tasked Mopamuro people
Towards ensuring total victory for the Peoples Democratic Party in the forth coming governorship election in Mopamuro LGA, Kogi State Deputy Governor, Yomi Awoniyi has charged people of the area not to sacrifice humility, compassion and the efforts of Capt Idris Wada in building critical infrastructure, on the alter of politics that would not do the state any good.
Awoniyi made the remarks during a door to door campaign of Wards in Mopamuro LGA.
Awoniyi described Capt Wada's leadership as the best thing to have happened to the state in the last three and half years, said he has been able to put the state on a sound foundation for development.
While addressing Okada riders Association at Orekere, Awoniyi promised to assist the Association to enable them become self reliant and called on them to support PDP in the forthcoming governorship election.
While visiting shops and houses also in Orekere, Awoniyi presented various packages to them, and expressed satisfaction with the ongoing work on the culvert at the area which he said was his personal initiative to make the road motorable for the community, commended the community and the contractor for ensuring quality work on the culvert.
At Ward six, where he commissioned a PDP Office, Awoniyi urged the youths in the area to ensure total victory for the PDP and Capt Wada, whom he described as humane, peace loving who has placed the state on the pace of growth and development.
Speaking on behalf of the various wards visited, Tope Omotosho a resident of ward four, promised to deliver for the PDP and Capt Wada in the governorship election, disclosing that the state would do better if the administration is allowed to complete all ongoing projects it has began and is yet to be completed.
