Rt. Hon. Otelemaba Amachree: Legendary Speaker Launches Bold Move for the Senate, Looks Unstoppable
In my efforts to present and highlight the capabilities of the candidates presented by All Progressives Congress (APC) for the March, 28th, 2015 general elections, permit me to present before you an enigma on issues pertaining to legislature in Nigeria. RT. HON. OTELEMABA DANIEL AMACHREE is not only currently Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly but also the longest serving member in any State House of Assembly in Nigeria. Rt. Hon. Amachree has served his constituency a record four times, from 1999 till date. His contribution to the nationally acclaimed stability of the Rivers State House of Assembly since 1999 is legendary. The fact remains that if not for the stability and leadership acumen of this young man which he brought to bear in the State House of Assembly, democracy would have been history in Rivers State when PDP launched several attacks against democracy in Rivers State when they plotted to use five misguided members of the Rivers State Assembly to unseat both the Speaker and the Governor of Rivers State which Hon Amachree foiled.
Kogi Govt: President Jonathan is the best president
Politicians who are deceiving themselves that the PDP would not have candidates for the forth coming elections to the National and State Assemblies election to represent Okene Senatorial District, Member to Represent Okene Federal Constituency and all the state assembly elections in the Ogori Okene Federal Constituency, will be shocked as the PDP, Awoniyi explained has candidates who will win overwhelmingly in the forth coming elections.
The State Deputy Governor gave the charge in Ogori-Magongo LGA at the PDP Presidential and House of Assembly Campaign Rally, held in Akpafa, Ogori Magongo LGA.
3 Days to Presidential Election: Wike, PDP Unleash Terror on Non-Indigenes
...Don’t be intimidated, says Rivers APC
With barely three days to the 2015 presidential election, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State and its governorship candidate, Chief Nyesome Wike, have taken political intolerance to a new level by sponsoring attacks on non-indigenes in the State with a view to scaring them back to their places of origin so as to ensure that they do not vote in the March 28 poll. Rivers APC Chairman, Dr. Davies Ibiamu Ikanya, said he was alerted about the disturbing development by Chief Uchenna Okoloba, the Coordinator of the Non-Indigenes Forum of Rivers APC.

PDP Plots to Write Unit Results at Collation Centres in Rivers State

Pastor Faith Oyedepo: Wednesday March 25, 2015 Daily Devotional - Having Compassion
Topic: Having Compassion [Wednesday March 25, 2015]
“Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:” -1 Peter 3:8
In today’s world, we are filled with the syndrome of me, my family and I, even in the body of Christ. It does not portray true Christianity as Christ was the exact opposite. He lived the life of God first, others next, others next. Love and Christianity cannot be separated, because the whole Christian faith is built on love- God’s love for humanity! And you cannot have compassion without first loving.

Text: Psalm 5:8-12
Key Verse: “But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee” (Psalm 5:11).
When a woman came out of the concentration camp in Germany where she experienced some unimaginable acts of wickedness after the Second World War, she concluded: “If you look at the world, you’ll be distressed. If you look within (yourself), you’ll be depressed. But if you look at Christ, you’ll be at rest.”

Jonathan Heads to Election on Bribery Hope
Bribery has been a recurring decimal in Nigerian elections. But the case of the 2015 electoral season is well ripe for the Guinness Book of Records.
The problem took a new dimension when President Goodluck Jonathan shocked the world by plainly rejecting a plan by Independent National Election Commission (INEC) to monitor campaign funds in the 2015 general elections. In Jonathan’s words, regulation can only be realistic, “if you’re getting funds from government, then you must set restrictions; but if you’re generating your own funds, then you’ve no restrictions.” The president followed by raising over N21 billion at one sitting, most of which interestingly came from state governors, federal government agencies and contractors. This brazen impunity was not only in utter violation of the electoral law which pegs the presidential campaign expenditure at no more than N1 billion, but the event took place when many states could not even pay their staff salaries. This is not good.

Pastor Faith Oyedepo: Tuesday March 24, 2015 Daily Devotional - Does virginity equal purity?
Topic: Does virginity equal purity? [Tuesday March 24, 2015]
“But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” - Matthew 5:28
In recent times, it has been found that purity has been mistaken for virginity. It seems to be taught that once sex has not taken place, that person is “pure”. We forget though that our thoughts and words also determine our purity. Involvement in certain actions which don’t necessarily go “all the way” but cross certain boundaries (as understood individually, knowing that our body is where Christ resides), also defile the body.
