A hat-trick from Adams Sanusi and a goal each from Awasa Sunday, Atabor Isaac and Gbufor Chima helped the Kogi-East team record another mouth-watering victory against their Kogi-West opponents who were consoled by Isaac Isaiah's injury time goal.
Omala had earlier bashed fellow district rivals Igalamela 6-0 in the quarter-final stage before hammering Kogi who advanced through a narrow 2-1 victory over Adavi.
In a related development, the second semi-final tie between Kabba/Bunu and Dekina earlier scheduled for September 13 has been shifted due to the upcoming PDP rally in the state.
According the Kogi FA Secretary, Augustine Ogunmola, the match was moved as a result of the PDP primaries slated for September 14 which is billed for the Lokoja Confluence Stadium. He announced that the new date set for the match is September 15.
Meanwhile, Omala will await winner of the second semi-final between Kabba/Bunu and Dekina in the finals scheduled to hold on September 26.
