The European Champions League winners were better off than their South American counterparts whom they had no difficulty seeing off on the night.
Just like he did in the finals of the Champions League in Lisbon, Sergio Ramos stepped up with another important goal, heading Carlo Ancelotti's team in front.
And another goalscorer in that game against Atletico Madrid, Gareth Bale equally found the net alongside Ramos.
The Welshman scored the second important goal that completed the victory for Real.
Despite all his efforts to score a goal, Cristiano Ronald could not find the net against the San Lorenzo goalkeeper, likewise Karim Benzema who didn't have any luck either.
San Lorenzo threatened Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas a couple of times with Enzo Kalinski providing the most dangerous chances for the Argentine side.
However, there was no stopping Real Madrid who stretched their winning streak to 22 straight wins, and they scored 81 goals in the process, conceding only 10 goals. [FIFA.COM]
