The visit of Dame Patience Jonathan to Kogi State as part of the Presidential Campaign rally to gather support for President Goodluck Jonathan has been described as a home coming and one that has bolster the confidence of Kogi women.
Kogi State Deputy Governor, Yomi Awoniyi, stated this at the campaign rally organized to gather support for President Goodluck Jonathan held in Lokoja.
Awoniyi described the turn out of Kogi women at the rally as an expression of love for President Jonathan, urged them to express the love by voting overwhelmingly for President Jonathan and all PDP candidates in the forth coming election.
The Deputy Governor urged those who are yet to collect their PVC's to strive to collect them so as to guarantee their love for President Jonathan. Awoniyi disclosed that President Jonathan has done well in the last four years assuring that the state stands better place to benefit from another four years of President Jonathan.
While maintaining that Kogi State have resolved to throw their weight behind the reelection of President Jonathan, Awoniyi appealed to the people to vote PDP as the party is more focus to serve the people in the years ahead if given another mandate.
Awoniyi listed achievements in the road education, agriculture and health sectors as recorded under the President Jonathan by the state as reasons why the state is routing for the continuity project of President Jonathan, urged the people to remain steadfast until the election are won for the PDP.
