Christian youths advised to live a Christ-like life

Christian youths have been advised to live a Christ-like life by way of emulating the work of Jesus Christ during his ministry on earth.

The youth President of Devine-Miracle Galore Ministry (A.K.A Restoration Church) Enugu State, Mister Ignatius Orji gave the advice yesterday at a programme organized by the youths of the church to commemorate its Youths Day, captioned “Shinning for Christ”.

Taking his gospel reading from John Chapter 8 verse 12, Mr orji read, Jesus spoke to them again saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.

While calling on Christian youths to eschew any act that will not make them to be partakers in the kingdom of God, the youth president explained that in their race for eternity, what counts is one’s personal relationship with his or her Maker, adding that whoever has the light of God will never walk in darkness.

“I do not know the light you carry in you. You may call yourself a Christian but you do not have the Light. A man that does not carry the light of God cannot do the work of God. It is a call for repentance” Mister Orji said.

In his closing remark/prayer, the General overseer of the Church Pastor Ifeanyi Okpe thanked the youths for making this year’s youth day a success and prayed for God blessings upon the organizers of the event.
