Topic: Live life, one day at a Time [Friday May 22, 2015]
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”-Philippians 4:6Many young people today are anxious over so many things. They are anxious about getting a job after school, getting married, earning big, living abroad, driving sophisticated cars, gaining fame and on and on; producing fear and uncertainty within themselves.
People have been lured into fraud, armed robbery, cultism and other negative vices, because they wanted to get “there” quick. To them, God is too slow to bring them to their desired end and they are not ready to follow the right processes to being successful. They forget that some of the people they envy, that are successful today, had humble beginnings and that true overnight successes took years and years to achieve. Only those who through patience and perseverance made it, today enjoy true success.
Remember the popular saying, “Rome was not built in a day,” Life itself cannot be built in one day. You need to go through processes that would build and refine you to be the man or woman God has intended for you to be. Most times, people who jump the ladder tend to fall midway; and when they do, the fall is always great.
Your greatness is incontestable; even the devil knows that you have been created for greatness. However, you have to work it out with hard work, diligence, sacrifice, prayers, perseverance and faith to produce outstanding results. Though it might take some time, contain several obstacles on the way that might feel impossible to overcome, you mustn’t lose hope. Live one day at a time and you will get to your destination in style. You shall be great!
Remain Blessed!
