Kogi registers new NATO members

Interested coaches, athletes and all-related stakeholders in Kogi have been invited for membership registration into the state chapter of the National Athletics Technical Officials (NATO).

The state coordinator of the state chapter of NATO, Mrs Bosede Funke Bamidele said membership form are available at the state Ministry of Education at the cost of 2500 naira for all interested individuals.

Mrs Bamidele, who is also the zonal sports officer of the state Teaching Service Commission in Kabba, urged specialists and athletes to register with the body so as to be acquainted with the current rules of athletics.

According to her, the new registered members of NATO will be inaugurated on March 12 at the Lokoja Confluence Stadium at 10am.

NATO, which has Prince Henry Amike as National President, is the umbrella body of Athletics Technical Officials – the personnel responsible for officiating athletics events.
