Nigerian army recaptures Buni Yadi, Buni Gari from Boko Haram

The Nigerian Army on Saturday recaptured Buni Yadi town the headquarters of Gujba Local Government Area and Buni Gari town both of Yobe State from Boko Haram terrorists.

According to a statement, the troops encountered little resistance during the operations, as the insurgents were on the run.

“Troops sacked terrorists from Buni Yadi and Buni Gari after a successful Simultaneous Operation concluded at dawn. Troops are now conducting Mopping Operation.”
