“The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.” -Proverbs 31:11
As a minister’s wife, you are saddled with so many responsibilities. You have the responsibility of taking care of your husband, family, ministry and other members of the body of Christ. Notwithstanding, you must bear in mind that your husband is your number one priority and you have the privilege of God to take care of him.
The reason some anointed men of God fall on the laps of “Delilah” is because their wives have failed to realize that they are humans also. Your husband, no matter how anointed he is, is an earthen vessel who is subject to feelings, desires and emotions. Yes, he must be sensitive enough to avoid any of such happenings, but you could be of help to him too. It is important that you find areas where you can meet his needs and care for him. Be genuinely concerned about his well-being, and see to it that no one takes your place.
Somebody once said that men are simply boys in trousers. So, make sure you minister to your husband with care; ensuring that you see to his comfort at all times. Don’t hinder the flow of the anointing of God upon his life through your negligence.
Remember you are called to be your brother’s keeper and it would be wise to be of help to your minister husband so he does not fall. You don’t just do that by praying, but you must power your prayers with positive actions of love, concern and care. Help him through his ministerial work, and you will find out that you both will succeed in it. He is not called alone; as you are called as his help-meet. So, do your part to make the ministry work.
Remain Blessed!
