“Marriage is honourable in all…” -Hebrews 13:4
There are always two sides to a coin and the truth is, you cannot view both sides at the same time. Similarly, there are two sides to marriage. You have God’s concept as written in Scriptures and man’s view, as deciphered by him. You cannot attempt to follow both. You either walk in the knowledge of what the Scripture says, or you follow man’s view. However, only God’s view on marriage brings fulfilment and peace.
One of His concepts on marriage is that it is honourable. For something to be honourable means that it holds value. It has qualities that demand respect, dignity and glory. You either choose to believe this or you don’t. If you believe in the honour of marriage, then it becomes your portion; but when you accept man’s concept that depicts marriage as a burden, you begin to experience that. That will not be your portion in Jesus’ name!
In God’s Kingdom, you are entitled to what you can see. That is where your faith comes in. God is good, and He is the Originator of marriage. So, marriage is good. To experience the good in your marriage, you need to change your perspective about it. You must open your mind to positivity, which attracts the sweetness and blessings in marriage, to you.
There is something about your thoughts; it has a way of coming to fruition. So, you must guard your heart against negative thoughts and human philosophies. That situation in your marriage might just be an outcome of your thoughts. If only you can just commit yourself to finding what God say about marriage and holding on to it, believing every Word, you will be triumphant in it. See the good in marriage today and let it become your reality.
Remain Blessed!
