Let's join hands to build kogi, power will shift at the appropriate time

Politicians have been asked to join hands with the present administration in building a virile Kogi State.

Kogi State Governor, Capt Idris Wada stated this at the forty day fridau prayers for Late Hajia Fulani Nana Salihu, mother of Hon A.K.Salihu, Special Adviser to the State Governor on Special Projects.

The Governor who was represented at the occasion by his Deputy, Yomi Awoniyi, appealed for continuous support for the present administration, maintaining that power will shift at the appropriate time, disclosed that the present administration in the state has been fair to all section of the state since its inception.

The governor noted that the unity of all section of the state has remained a priority since the administration came on board, with focus on good governance as a priority.

While noting that change is inevitable, urged the people to be convinced by the sincerity of purpose employed by the present administration in administering the state,solicited for the people's support for the administration.

Capt Wada said the present administration has made project execution and human capital development a priority since its inception, prayed for the repose of the soul of Hajia Nana Salihu.
The governor commended the late matriarch for her steadfastness, commended her for living an examplary life she lived.

In a remarks, Alh A.K. Salihu, son of the decease, commended the state government for their support to Late Hajia Nana, thanked those who attended the ceremony.

Chief Patrick Adaba, Dr Phillip Adaba, former Deputy Governor's in the state and one time SSG, Hon Musa Ahmadu, were among dignitaries that graced the occasion.
