Pastor Faith Oyedepo: Wednesday July 15, 2015 Daily Devotional – Right Timing

Topic: Right Timing [Wednesday July 15, 2015]

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:”-Ecclesiastics 3:1

The call of God upon a man’s life is always for an appointed time. Ministry is in phases and every phase has its appointed time. An understanding of God’s time schedule for every phase of His call upon your life puts you in line with God’s plan for you at the hour, and it helps ensure for you, speedy accomplishment.

Some people have an insight into God’s plan for them, but they fail to discover when He wants that project to begin and the time frame allotted to it. So, they might either start too early or too late. Even when they are on track with the start time, because they don’t know when they are to move to the next stage of the assignment, they stay too long on one spot, struggling.

Not walking with God’s timing can lead to frustration in your pursuit. This is why so many people think God has abandoned them; whereas, they are the ones who failed to seek directives on the next step. Our God is a God of order. When He gives you an assignment, He attaches to it everything you will need to ensure its fulfilment.

That is why the Bible says every vision is for an appointed time. Anyone that misses that appointed time misses the blessings. So, in addition to seeking your calling and purpose, seek to know when God wants you to do what He has asked of you. The sons of Issachar were known for their ability to know the specific time and season a particular thing needed be done. You too can be on time with your calling, through inquiry. You will not miss it!

Remain Blessed!
