Topic: Claiming your Covenant Right [Saturday July 11, 2015]
“And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
-Genesis 1:28
One of the plagues confronting marriages today is the issue of childbearing. People have gone to so many places and have gotten involved in so many things, medical and fetish, all to no avail. However, there is one source that most people fail to rely on, or probably make a last resort; this source is God. He is the originator of marriage, and He has ordained your fruitfulness from the beginning.
Marriage is designed to be fruitful. In fact, the same authority God engaged in calling forth light and everything we see today on the earth, is the same authority He engaged when He said to man: “Be fruitful and multiply!” So, your fruitfulness is natural to you.
However, the devil who has been the thief and destroyer from the beginning, has not changed. He goes about seeking whom to devour, that’s why people experience what they do. To be free from him, you must first catch this thief, bind him and then make him pay seven times what he has stolen from you (Proverbs 6:30-31). How do you catch the devil? You may ask.
You have to realise first that the devil is the thief, and Jesus is present to restore to you all the devil has stolen (John 10:10). Then, you must resist and rebuke the devil, in faith and authority, out of your home and your life (James 4:7). When that is done, go a step further to proclaim the blessing of fruitfulness upon your life and marriage with the same intensity of authority. Remember the Bible says “you shall have whatever you say.” (Mark 11:23-24).
I believe with you that your fruitfulness is now, and you shall have it according to your desires, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
Remain Blessed!
