“Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”-Proverbs 22:29
There is this young man called Anthony Robbins. From his young age, he told himself he wanted to be a man of solutions, so he worked hard to earn more in other to attend every seminar on personal development in America. While still in high school, he had read 700 books on psychology, physiology and personal development. Today, he is a welcomed personality at any circle of intelligence on the earth.
One distinguishing factor he had is that, he identified what he wanted and built his future around it. The reason people jump from place to place, is that they have not identified what they want in life and so cannot work towards achieving it. The most important step to greatness is to identify your purpose. Purpose is life and life without purpose is death in disguise.
Men with dreams are intensely focused on achieving them. So, they live everyday working to achieve them. Men of dreams are men of purpose and men of purpose are men of impact and influence. No one ever diligently pursues his dream without commanding great influence. If you must be relevant to your world therefore, there must be something you are living for; something that wakes you up each day with fresh zeal.
You don’t have to be in a particular profession to be great, but you can only be great in that which you pursue after diligently. All you need is to find that which you were created for, build your skills toward it and develop yourself in that area so as to remain relevant. In essence, you must know where you belong and fully identify with it. My husband has always said: “There is no star without a scar and the scar of every star is sacrifice.” You need to sacrifice all you can to see a future and pursue it. You will not be lost in the crowd in the name of Jesus Christ!
Remain Blessed!
