Kogi West PDP resolve to vote enmass for Capt Wada


The Members of the People's Democratic Party, from the West Senatorial District of Kogi State have resolved to ensure an overwhelming victory for Capt Idris Wada in the forth coming governorship election.

At a meeting held in Kabba, and attended by all the critical stakeholders of the Western Senatorial District, members made up of Party Executives and leaders at the seven local government, promised to deliver overwhelmingly for the governor.

The meeting which was under the chairmanship of the Kogi State Deputy Governor, Yomi Awoniyi, commended the members for their steadfastness, urged them to see the forth coming governorship election as a defining moments for the state's development.

Another opportunity for Capt Wada, Awoniyi disclosed would help secure the future of the state, urged them to work for consolidation of the gains the state has made in the last three and half years.
Awoniyi urged the people not to turn back the hands of the clock backwards, but vote for progress and development, described governance in the present time as one that calls for a prudent leader, and a resource manager.

Awoniyi urged the people to take their destiny in their hands, describing the state as a PDP state, safe under Capt Wada, commended the members for their support for the present administration and called them to remain resolute until the party is delivered in the November election.

Various speakers at the meeting include, Gen David Jemibewon, Prince Olushola Akanmode, Chief Sam Akande, Dr stephen Olorunfemi and a host of others said the west senatorial district will vote enmass for Capt Wada, said his first term in office has brought dividends of democracy to the area.
