I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. Psalms 118:17. Read: Isa 54:15-17

Many are already dead before they actually experience physical death. Death actually start from the heart. Everyone that died, dies first from the heart because, the heart is the centre of a man's life; once the heart stop to beat, one stop to live. The fear of death is death itself. According to Scripture, many are under bondage through fear of death. And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Heb 2:15. But through death (Jesus' death), He has destroyed power of death. Vs 14.

Harnessing Traditional Source Markets to Foster Tourism Growth in Nigeria

By Olukayode Kolawole

Nigeria is blessed with rich natural resources. These resources have, no doubt, contributed meaningfully to the economic growth and development of the country. While some of these resources have been reproduced into things of greater value, such as gold and PMS, DPK, AGO and LPFO products, others are being preserved as tourism attractions for indigenes and foreigners alike. The likes of Olumo Rock in Abeokuta, Zuma Rock in Niger, Obudu Mountain Resort in Calabar, Awhum Waterfall in Enugu, The Giant Footprint of Ukhuse Okein Edo and Alok Ikom Moliths in Cross River are few examples of natural resources turned tourism sites.

A friend confessed to me one day, “Instead of seeking God’s face, I’ve been guilty of seeking God’s gifts. Too many times I have been more excited about what He does for me than I’ve been about seeking His face and rejoicing in who He is.” She went on to say that she craved the blessings and wonderful things God did in her life. The Lord had used her in praying for the sick and had opened doors for her to minister to people.

Our Responsibility to God's Word

Our primary responsibility to God's Word after hearing or studying it is to believe it wholeheartedly. No matter how impossible that situation might seem, wisdom and faith (like prophet Ezekiel answered God at the valley of dry bones) is needed to respond to God. When we waver in our faith, we lose our blessings. Like James put it, "For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord". Jas 2:7.

William Colgate of the famous Colgate Toothpaste discovered this truth early in life that we usually get more than we give to God and keyed into it. He felt the urge to tithe because he recognised that God was the Giver of all that he possessed, not only of opportunity, but even of the elements which were used in the manufacture of his products. William Colgate not merely tithed one-tenth of the earnings of Colgate's soap products; but he gave two-tenths, then three-tenths, and finally five-tenths of all his income to the work of God in the world. Today, the blessings he received have outlived him.

A few years before he became the 26th U.S. president (1901–1909), Theodore Roosevelt got word that his oldest son, Theodore Jr., was ill. While his son would recover, the cause of Ted’s illness hit Roosevelt hard. Doctors told him that he was the cause of his son’s illness. Ted was suffering from “nervous exhaustion,” having been pressed unmercifully by Theodore to become the “fighter” hero-type he himself had not been during his own frail childhood. Upon hearing this, the elder Roosevelt made a promise to relent: “Hereafter I shall never press Ted either in body or mind.”

And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth. - Colossians 3:2

The Bible says we are to set our minds on things above, not on things on the earth. Having been addicted to approval, I know how difficult it is not to think about it when we feel someone is not pleased with us. Thoughts of that person's anger and rejection seem to fill our every waking moment. Instead of trying not to think wrong thoughts, choose right ones. Fill your mind with positive thoughts. Meditate on God's Word and His will for you. Then wrong thoughts will find no place of entry.

In your words lies your world, whether to manifest it through positive declaration or truncate it through negative declaration depends solely on you. The power to create your desired future is in your belief and declaration system. You can't go further than what you believe in your heart and what you declare with your mouth. This is why the Bible in Pro 23:7 says, it's your thought life that determines what you become in life. In the earthly ministry of Jesus, it was according to your faith you receive. Mk 10:51-52. And God said in Numbers 14:28, Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you.
