He knows that worry steals your peace and joy. It affects every area of your life. Have you heard the saying, “Don’t worry yourself sick?” That’s because worrying affects your physical body. It affects your sleep. You won’t ever gain anything by worrying; in fact, you’ll lose precious moments that you can never get back again. The good news is that God has promised that you can have victory over worry. It starts by making the choice to trust in Him. When you cast your cares on Him, He will give you His peace.

My outing two Sundays ago was titled: Kachikwu And Official Sophistry. It was my candid submission after observing Dr. IbeKachikwu, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources and Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) for 10 months. After reading me, one of my ardent followers and a brother, Martins Okpalefe sent a text to add his views, specifically to defend Kachikwu against some of my assertions.

Signs of the times by Reuben Abati

Reuben Abati
“Easter greetings”

“Ok”

“I am greeting you”

“I see”

“Are we quarrelling? Or you have malaria?”

“Can’t you see that I am just not in the mood?”

“Not in the mood to say same to you?”

Joyce Meyer's daily devotional March 27, 2016 - The Journey Toward Unselfishness

Topic: The Journey Toward Unselfishness [March 27, 2016]

. . . I die daily [I face death every day and die to self]. - 1 Corinthians 15:31

Selfishness is not learned behavior; we are born with it. The Bible refers to it as "sin nature." Adam and Eve sinned against God by doing what He told them not to do, and the sin principle they established was forever passed to every person who would ever be born. God sent His Son, Jesus, to die for our sins, and to deliver us from them. He came to undo what Adam did.

During the 17th century, Oliver Cromwell, Lord Protector of England, sentenced a soldier to be shot for his crimes. The execution was to take place at the ringing of the evening curfew bell. However, the bell did not sound.

Open Heavens 27 March 2016: Sunday daily devotion by Pastor E. A. Adeboye – Sin against the Body

Topic: Sin against the Body [Sunday 27, March 2016]

Memorise: Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18

Read: 1 Corinthians 6:15-20 (KJV)

15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

Joel and Victoria Osteen’s daily devotional March 26, 2016 - Enjoy the Journey

Today’s Scripture: “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.” - (Proverbs 4:18, NIV)

Topic: Enjoy the Journey [March 26, 2016]

Sometimes it’s easy to become so goal-oriented and so focused on our dreams that we overlook the simple things that we should be enjoying in our everyday life. But we have to remember that life is not really about the destination, it’s about how we live all along the way. It’s about the path we’re on that shines brighter and brighter.
