When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth... John 16:13
The deeper the foundation, the taller the building. The time it will take to build the foundation of a twenty-four storey building is not the same time it will take to build the foundation of a one storey building. But most of us want to be a twenty-four storey building while putting in the time, energy and resources for the foundation of a one story building, expecting it to hold a twenty-four storey building. Beloved, it won't hold. The building will crash.
The will of the Lord is that we become all that we can to be. Jesus knew that what His disciples were able to learn from Him won't be enough to do the work that they were supposed to do and make the impact they should make, so He told them, in Luke 24:49 “and now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.” He never wanted them to go out with limited understanding and empowerment, so they don't become failures, that was why He told them to stay until the Holy Spirit comes to fill them with power.
In John 16:13, He also told them that "when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth..." That means He will guide them to understand all things about the Kingdom. They had to go through this process. They did not just jump the gun and started out talking about the Kingdom. They would have been failures. We all need to go through the learning, digging, and building process. The more the quality of the process, which will definitely take more time, the bigger the success. Do not despise the learning process, enjoy it, go through it. Gold does not fear the fiery heat of the furnace, because it knows the hotter the furnace, the greater its value. Go through the process and come out the best God wants you to be.
Keep winning daily.
Prayer:
Thank You dear Lord for my refinement, education and building process. I humble myself under Your tutelage and all the instruments, both human and otherwise, You will use to achieve my building process. Do to me what the potter does with his finest works, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
