A Promise For You From Bible Promises:
Topic: Trusting God In The Midst Of Affliction
Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. Job 13:15
One of the greatest challenges of man is not be able to trust God in the midst of momentary pain. He sees affliction as everlasting when 2 Cor. 4:17 calls it "A light affliction, which is but for a moment". Many in the midst of affliction blame God and began to ask God "Why", this is because of the deceptiveness of man's heart that believes life is a bed of roses. Life is never bed of roses and can never be, God didn't promised us rough-free journey, but promised to be with us in that challenges. When you are able to trust God in whatsoever you are going through, the devil becomes mad and leave, and when he leaves, God step in and change your Story to glory. Job said, even though he slay me, I will continue to trust Him, in trusting Him for my change, I must maintain my own way. This means in the midst of affliction, just make sure your own ways are right before Him and trust Him, He will show up to your rescue in Jesus name.
Job so much believed in God that he told his friends, 'I know that my redeemer liveth, all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Indeed, his change did came when God restored all his lost in double fold. Job 2o:25, 14:14, 42:12. If you can trust Him like Job today, you will see the judgment of God in that challenges. Hand it over to Him by trusting Him.
* Today, God will take over your challenges and they shall be over in Jesus name.
