Text: John 14:21-23

Another package of the new covenant that God has given to us to enjoy is His companionship. Now this is one of the best parts of the new covenant. God made this possible by restoring our god-like state, because it is only a god that can be a companion to God. God's intention for the first man was for companionship, and the new covenant restored that companionship between God and man.

Revelation 3:20  says "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." This type of companionship is not limited to just being with us. It is a partnership, a fusing together as one. The Greek word "homilia", which means communion and intercourse explains it.

This companionship (communion, intercourse, partnership) is a very vital component of our lives. It is God coming to partner with us to live our lives (His life we have received) to the fullest, exercising all that He has deposited in us to our and His advantage. This is a blessing to us as we peruse this world, going from one victory to another because God is with us. Hallelujah!!!

Dear Lord, thank You for coming to be my companion and partner. I am elated to partner with You because that guarantees my success in all that I do. Thanks once again, in Jesus name. Amen.
