The Cure for Sin

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. - 1 John 3:8

From time immemorial, the potent God has laboured intensively to save His creatures that has been misled by the subtleness of the devil from the beginning. Even when the first Adam failed, God still showed him unconditional love and promised the coming of the Son to defeat the devil. Gen. 3:15. When the children of Israel rebelled against Him and His servant Moses in the wilderness, He struck them with fiery serpent that began to killed them, but for His mercies, He made away of escape for them by creating a bronze serpent as to save them from destruction when they looked to it. Number 21:4-9

In the new Testament, Jesus told Nicodemus that, And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:14-15. Which means He is the Saviour of the world. Jesus is the cure for the sinful nature of humanity, through His shed blood on the Cross of Calvary, the nature of sin is destroyed. This freedom can only be for those who will look to Him for the saving of their souls from the impeding destruction. You don't have to struggle with that habit anymore, bring them to the foot of Jesus feet because there lies your victory.
