Text: John 8:32

"And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free"

In Law, we are told that Ignorance is not an excuse; in other words, your failure to know the constitution is not a yardstick for acting against the constituted laws. In the Christiandom, your ignorance of the truth about who you are also affects you severely. Because it cuts short the blessedness you should have enjoyed in that area of your life that you are ignorant about.

Truth is the real fact about something. What does the Word of God says about you, your health, prosperity, righteousness etc. The revealed truth in God's Word should be your reality not your feelings. The devil is a master at making you feel otherwise hence the scripture declares in Galatians 5:1 "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled AGAIN with the yoke of bondage".

What do you do then? Know the truth of God's realities for you. Declare your stand in Christ. Testify of your victory and refuse contrary suggestions from Satan when he comes up with one. Stay glued to what God have said about you always, irrespective of a contrary situation. You will doubtless come back with a testimony.
