Topic: Show Concern For His Church. Pt Two [19/12/2016]
And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity. Ezekiel 9:4-5. Read: Ezek 9:1-11
There is no standing at the middle or sitting on the fence, you either belong to the left or right. There is danger in being in between or complacent in the things that affect the Church of God. God expects everyone of His children to be concerned about the affairs of his kingdom on earth. The Bible says in Romans 1:32 that, not only those who do the abominable are worthy of death, but also those who have pleasure or show or approve of them.
From the above scriptures, God ordered some angels to go into the street of Jerusalem to slay both old and young, but they should first of all mark those who sighed and showed concern for the abomination going on in his house. They were saved from being destroyed by those angels of death. Showing concern for whatever calamity that befall his church goes a long way to saving you. Let what affect His church be a concern to you. Let what breaks God's heart break your heart too. Be concerned for the revival of the Church.
