Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. Isaiah 60:1
It is God's pleasure to see us prosper in all we do. Scriptures say in Psalms 35:27 "...let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant." Through our prosperity we are able to show the manifold wisdom of God to the principalities and powers in heavenly places (Ephesians 3:10). That is why we must take advantage of our place of wealth. One of the things that hinders our prosperity in our place of wealth is lack of character.
Sometimes virtues such as dedication, discipline and determination are lacking, especially in young people. For us to enjoy our place of wealth, we must be dedicated to it. We must see to it that we take responsibility for our growth both spiritually and physically. We must devote ourselves to developing our gifts and relationship with God's Spirit. We must consciously set apart ourselves to the course God has set us for, giving our best always.
We must also be disciplined enough to stay grounded in humility, knowing that God only gives grace to the humble. Our discipline will lead us to desire self-improvement and seek to be better than we are. And when we are not making headway, we should not loose heart; we should be determined to keep plunging away. We are of stock of God, we don't faint or get weary. When we exhibit these virtues, our prosperity in our place of wealth is guaranteed.
Keep winning daily.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank You for Your purpose and plans for me. Help me to build the characters needed for me to enjoy and make maximum impact in my place of wealth, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
