International football icons are in Rivers state for Joseph Yobo’s Testimonial match which will be played today at the Adokiye Amasieamaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
The 35-year-old former Nigerian captain retired from the national team having appeared over 100 times for the country – and that achievement is being celebrated at a star-studded event in the city of Port Harcourt.
David Moyes, Vincent Enyeama, Samuel Eto’o, Stephen Appiah, Danny Shittu, Samson Siasia and others have already arrived ahead of the game.
Also on the list are former skippers of France and England, Thierry Henry and Chelsea’s John Terry. They would be joined by several Nigerian football greats like Nwankwo Kanu, Austin Jay Jay Okocha, Taribo West and more.
