Unilever Commences Knorr Taste Quest Season IV
Lagos, Nigeria – It is time again for tongues to go smacking, as Unilever Nigeria announces the commencement of its annual cooking competition; Knorr Taste Quest Season 4.
Knorr, the leading seasoning cube brand of Unilever Nigeria Plc has come with yet another captivating season of its reality cooking competition show ‘Knorr Taste Quest’, where contestants get to thrill viewers with their creativity in cooking. The Competition will offer participants an opportunity to showcase their culinary skills and get awarded for their talents.
The audition for Knorr Taste Quest Season 4 is expected to hold in Lagos on the 3rd & 4th of May. Two well-known celebrity chefs, Dr Robert and chef Fregz will be the judges and will be selecting the best 12 for participation in the main contest. The 12 final contestants will then combat it out in the kitchen for 13 weeks, for one of them to emerge as the seasoned one and ultimately be crowned Nigeria’s culinary best.
Brand Manager, Knorr, Jennifer Okpoyo stated that the cooking competition is a platform established to showcase different culinary skills and expertise with creative ways of transforming food with Knorr to great tasting dishes. She added that, the contestants are expected to display innovative skills in food preparation and presentation to emerge winner of the contest.
According to the brand manager, the winner of this year’s edition will go home with the grand prize of N5m with lots of kitchen equipment’s. The first runner up will be awarded with a cash prize of N1.5m while the second runner up will take home N750, 000.
Interested participant must be a Nigerian citizen resident in Nigeria and must be 21 years and above with no formal tertiary or other professional catering qualifications acquired in the last 10 years.
