Topic: Rely On Him [29/7/2016]
Text: 1 Thessalonians 5:24
God is a reliable Father and He counts us reliable also. In His Kingdom, He loves to give responsibility to everyone because He knows that He can trust everyone. God will never have a son that He won't give a responsibility to. So maybe you are reading this and you think you don't have an important role to play in the kingdom of God, I am sorry to disappoint you. You do have a huge role to play in God's kingdom. You need to go meet our Father and ask Him what your responsibility is to our kingdom. He will bring it to your knowledge.
Some folks think being given a responsibility by God is something out of this world. And I have seen and heard some folks reject the responsibilities given to them. The first thing that comes to my mind is that, these guys don't know it is a privilege to do God's work. And they have not also to the understanding that God does not require their effort. Scriptures say in 1 Thessalonians 5:24 that: "faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it." You don't have to rely on yourself. On your own, you can do nothing. Really on Him.
Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 3:5, that: "not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God." Rely on God. He is the one who called you and because he is faithful, He will do it. Allow Him work in you to produce His good pleasure (Hebrew 13:21). It's about you, it's all about Him. Rely on Him. What He has called you for is the work He is supposed to do in the flesh and since He is Spirit, He is performing them through you. Rely solely on Him and He will do it faithfully through you.
Keep winning daily.
Prayer:
Today marks the first anniversary of Winning Wisdom. Spare a prayer for the Winning Wisdom team, that God's direction will be ever present and His grace will be ever sufficient for the work ahead of us, in Jesus' name. Amen.
