Winning Wisdom: The God Class

I and my Father are one. John 10:30

One of the profound and most controversial statements of Jesus Christ when He was on earth is found in the a scripture above. During the time of Moses and down to when Jesus Christ came into the world, the Jews were in awe - intense fear - of God. They saw themselves as inferior to God. It was blasphemy to refer to God, who was far above their class in their minds, as your Father. There was this master-slave mentality that they had. As a man, calling God Father means you are putting yourself in the same class with God and to them that was blasphemy. No wonder they wanted to stone Jesus Christ to death for blasphemy, when Jesus said "I and my Father are one" (John 10:30).

But Jesus was revealing to them the reality of the new man we become when we put our faith in Him. Scriptures say in Hebrews 2:10, "for it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, IN BRINGING MANY SONS UNTO GLORY, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings." Christ, through His suffering has brought many sons to glory, where He presently is, because He has been glorified (John 13:31-32). This means He has brought us to His class. We are of the same class with God.

We are not inferior to God. We are in the same class with God.  You and the Father are one in every sense of the world. God is not looking at you as inferior nor is there a perpetual master-slave relationship. In short, Jesus called us friends. He said in John 15:15, "henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends..." You are in the God class. You are not an inferior to God in anyway. God has made you so. Live in this light always.

Keep winning daily.

Prayer:

I am in the the God class. I am not inferior. I am a superior being. I think and act in this light always. No one or situation can put me down, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
