Surprising health and sexual benefits of these veggies

Most of us hate veggies, probably because your parents forced them down your throat at an early age and told you it was good for you. Well, they were not wrong, they are! They are good for your sex life! According to research, this list of veggies would spice up your sex life.

(1) Garlic

Thanks to the flavour of garlic it does terrible things to your breath and that is not attractive considering the aim of this article. Peppers are packed with a key ingredient called capsaicin, which is proven to increase heart rate, metabolism, blood flow, and sweat. They also trigger the release of feel-good endorphins that act like natural painkillers. This is a good way to heat things up with your lover, although excess of peppers is life threatening, the right amount would be good for your sex life.

As a root vegetable, carrot would ‘ground’ you. Because roots grow downward, life force energy (known as chi in Chinese) is downward and grounding. Roots nourish the lower half of the body, including the reproductive organs, also increases sexual vitality. Rich in B vitamins and minerals, roots also provide strength and endurance.

Sometimes, beetroot is refered to as nature’s Viagra as it works in a similar way as the popular ED drug. Rich in nitrates, and the bacteria on your tongue helps to convert them to nitrites, which are then converted to nitric oxide in the stomach. ED medications work by increasing nitric oxide levels, which increases blood flow to the penis by dilating blood vessels. Voila!
