Topic: Make Plans [28/6/2016]
Text: Luke 14:28
There is a popular saying in our local parlance which says: he that fails to plan, plans to fail. This statement has become more and more relevant to us each passing day, as we see more and more people failing in what they do. Planning is simply having strategies to achieve predetermined goals. Everyone with goals needs at least one or two strategies to achieve his goals. Success is not stumbled upon. Success is not a chance event. Success is a planned.
It does not matter how little your goals are, you still need strategies to achieve them. The salvation from God we now enjoy was planned by God. If you read the books of the old testament and the prophets, you will encounter God's plan for salvation. God planned salvation hence it was successfully executed. If you want to make success of those dreams and goals in your heart, then you must learn how to plan. Nobody can do without it. Luke 14:28 says: "for which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?"
What are your strategies for success for your family, business, job, career, church, community and nation? For us to successfully hit our goals, we must learn not have one strategy alone, but at least two strategies, so that when one flops, we can employ the other. Ecclesiastes 11:6 says: "In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good." That is, have different strategies to success, for you don't know which will prosper. Plan! Strategize!
Keep winning daily.
Prayer:
My success is assured because I have the Extraordinary Strategist strategizing with me. My plans for success set me on the course of great achievement. No matter how big my goals are, I have the plans to match them and achieve them, in Jesus name. Amen.
