“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” -2 Timothy 1:7
When we talk of using the creative power of the mind to get what we want, some people actually restrain its capability. However, the human mind is powerful and can also be put to effective use in the ministry too. In fact, without the use of your mind, you might be stagnated in your assignment. The church growth, impact and transformation you envision in ministry begins with the mind.
In your mind seats the wisdom you need to get all your needs met, if only you would engage it. I see a lot of ministries/ministers going from place to place and persons to persons, seeking for one form of assistance or the other. Little do they know that the greatest assistance they need lives inside of them. In your mind reside the resources, creativity, innovation and progress you need to excel in life and ministry. The mind is the greatest covenant asset for prominence, excellence and royalty.
However, to get the best of this asset, calls for a transformation of your thoughts. This has nothing to do with your being born again or not, but it has all to do with your thoughts being conformed to what the Bible says about you and that ministry. It is only when your mind is transformed that you can explore and prove what the will of God is concerning your ministry.
Do you actually trust God and His Word? Are you assured that everything written in the Word is real and can be repeated in your ministry today? If in doubt, then you must begin to train your mind to believing everything from God’s Word. That ministry cannot experience explosion without a sound mind. If the Bible says you have the mind of Christ, then you must think possibility, creativity and progress, just the way He did. Your ministry shall excel in the name of Jesus Christ!
Remain Blessed!
