Wada assures Otokiti Community of improved infrastructures if reelected

The people of Otokiti community, in Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State, have been assured of better improvement in their infrastructures in the second term administration of Capt Idris Wada.

Kogi State Deputy Governor, Yomi Awoniyi, stated this when he held meeting with residents of the area as part of efforts to woo electorate ahead of the Saturday’s governorship election.

Awoniyi, commended the residents for their abiding faith in the PDP since 1998, assured that issues relating to the reticulation of greater Lokoja Water Works to the area, improvement in the electricity supply and road network would top the administration’s priority when it is re – elected.

Awoniyi, described Capt Idris Wada, the candidate of the PDP as an angel and light, said the Governor’s antecedent and character while in office, makes him suitable to be re – elected.

Awoniyi called on the residents to make the choice that would guarantee improved living condition for the children and those unborn, said a solid foundation has already been laid by Capt Wada, another term in office he said would allow for consolidation.

Awoniyi, made donation for the repairs of the community’s borehole, urged them to turn out enmass on Saturday and vote wisely for the PDP, as the area stands better protected under a PDP led administration.

Earlier in a remark, Tajudeen Otokiti, spokesman of the community, said the area have resolved to work for Capt Wada, solicited the support of the Government for transformers, repair of their boreholes and good road network in the community.
