A Promise For You From Bible Promises: [03/06/16]
Topic: Dressed To Kill?
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 2 Corinthians 6:17. Read: 2 Cor 6:14-18
Though the world tries to drag the Church to herself even as the Church tries to save the world Jesus died for. As technology and civilization are taking over the world, you can hardly differentiate between a believer and a non-believer through their dressing simply because majority are taught that our dress pattern doesn't affect our salvation. But I tell you the truth, a genuine salvation doesn't only change you from inside, it does change your wardrobe too because it's the way you dress that you will be addressed. When Moses fled from Egypt to Midian, he was still having Egyptian clothes on. The daughters of Reuel describing Moses to their father, they said, an Egyptian delivered us from the hand of the shepherds. They addressed him by his dress. Exodus 2:18-19
Many people today (including some so-called Christians) dress to kill. A man saw a lady, he said to her, "How much are you selling it?" because of the way she exposed sensitive parts of her body. You must not be deceived with the crazy fashion of the world, it will pass away with its lust. Dress to give life not to kill. Beloved, God standard remains the same, He knows His own and if you are His own, stop destroying people with your dress.
* Your dressing can either inspire (give) life or expire (kill) life
