But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. (2 Corinthians 4:7)
I have heard some folks pray, "Lord fill me, I am an empty vessel, fill me Lord." As humble as that prayer sounds, it is based on ignorance. God does not create anything empty. Every of God's creation is filled with potentials. You are not an empty vessel waiting to be filled, rather you are a treasure-filled vessel void of self-discovery. In you lies the treasures of God. God's bank of goodies to the world.
I have heard people say they don't have any potential, talent or gift. No beloved, you are filled with lots of potentials - lots of them! The potential to plant the seed of a child was in the child at birth, not when he became a man. The day you were given birth to, every thing you need to live an impactful life was in you. You were born a treasure-filled child. Before you became a zygote cell, God has already filled you with His treasure (Jeremiah 1:5).
This is the time to discover them all and be a master of all. Yes, discover them all and be a master of all, because you are a Jack of all trades and master of all. Apostle Paul said: "I can do ALL THINGS through Christ which strengthens me" (Phillipians 4:13). Who told you you can't put all your treasures to impactful use? You can, beloved. You are a treasure-filled vessel. Put your treasures to us.
Keep winning daily.
Prayer:
I was not created empty. I am a treasure-filled vessel of God. I use my treasures to create life changing impact through the working of God's Spirit in me, to the praise and glory of God, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
