Looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
In John 10:4, scriptures say: "and when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice." Very importantly, as we follow Jesus, we must make sure we are always on the right path He is leading us through. It is very essential that we get to know the voice of Jesus, so that the deceptive voice of Satan will not lure us away from the path the Lord is leading us in. This is a very crucial part in our walk with our Good Shepherd - knowing His voice.
The path that you are walking through now has been walked through by Christ, bodily. He has laid down an example for us to follow as we walk the path He has chosen for us. That is why we must always set our eyes before Him and know His voice as He beckons on us. The voice of Jesus becomes easier to recognize when we spend time with Him. Spending time with Him provides the perfect opportunity for Him to talk with us and lead us in the path that we must follow. He wants us to know His voice so that we won't fall for the deceptive voice of Satan that wants to get our attention.
Spend time with Jesus in prayers and in the study of God's Word. Get to know Him. Get to know how He walked the path that you are on now. When you do that, you will always know His voice and follow His lead. The danger of not knowing His voice is too enormous, considering the weight of life for you not to know his voice. Prior to making decisions, different voices want to be heard, and the ability to recognize God's voice distinguishes God's own. Get to know His voice by spending time with Him in prayer and studying His Word.
Keep winning daily.
Wise Action:
Make a decisive decision to always have time with the Lord from now. Cultivate a prayerful life and pray everywhere.
