Couple asked to build marriage on love and communication - Wada


Newly wedded couple have been asked to build their marriage on love and communication.
Kogi State Deputy, Yomi Awoniyi, gave the advice at the wedding reception between Samirat Omolori Ataba, daughter to the Clark of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Ataba Sani Omolori and Bashir Momoh, Son of Major General, Momoh Abbas, held at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

Awoniyi who represented Capt Idris Wada, Kogi State Governor, urged the couple to allow the first love that brought them together, to constantly guide them in their daily lives, said effective communication in marriage is a panacea to solving most marriage challenges.

Awoniyi, appealed to the newly wedded couple to remain prayerful, and seek for information that would make them better couple.

Awoniyi said the coming together of the couple, and the calibre of persons that attended the wedding, underscores the quality of the couple's parents.

Awoniyi described the couple's parents as people who through hardwork have made their mark, called on the new couple to emulate their virtues of patriotism and service, which has stand them out.
Awoniyi wished the couple a happy marriage life, prayed God to bless the union with the blessings of marriage.

The wedding attracted people from all work of life, had personalities as the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Aminu Dogara, who was the Special Guest of Honour, Senator Mohammadu Ohiere, Senator Dino Melaye, and other serving and former Federal legislators, former Governor of the State, Prince Abubakar Audu, HRM, Alh Dr Ado Ibrahim, the Ohinoyi of Ebira Land, the Maigari of Lokoja, Alh Kabir Maikafi and the Ohimege of Koto, Alh Abdurazaq Isah Koto, who in their separate remarks wished the newly wedded couple a blissful and prosperous marriage life.

Expressing his appreciation to those that attended the wedding, Alh Ataba Sani Omolori, said he was overwhelmed with joy for the large turnout and prayed almighty God to bless the union.
