Topic: In His Goodness [25/7/2016]
Text: Psalm 31:19
God is a good God. In all His acts He tends towards revealing His goodness to us. God cannot deal evil to anyone because He is goodness personified. Scriptures says in Psalms 33:5 "the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD." That is why everywhere you go in this earth, you will see the evidence of God's goodness. He also makes sure that throughout the year, and year after year, we experience His goodness (Psalm 65:11).
In His goodness, and as the good Shepherd, He makes sure that we lack no good thing that we need to live a fulfilled life. Psalms 34:10 confirms this as it says: "the young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing." In His goodness, He ensures our security. He keeps us safe under His fortress, safe from every satanic operations. The Psalmist, to confirms this, wrote in Psalms 144:2: "My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me."
In His goodness He has subdued Satan for our sake and made us more than conquerors through the love He expresses towards us. No wonder, regarding us, scriptures say that "nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us" (Romans 8:37). Lastly, in His goodness, He has come to restore mankind to his original state of preeminence over all God's creatures, including Satan and His demons. Ephesians 1:22 confirms this when it says that God has "put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church." Hallelujah!!!
Keep winning daily.
Prayer:
Praise God for His goodness upon your life, as you pray in the spirit, in Jesus' name. Amen.
