He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (John 7:37)
God's perfect plan is for each of His sons and daughters to be filled with His Spirit so that they could be the channel for the world to drink of the living water that will flow from them, through the operation of His Spirit. God does not just want us to have the Holy Spirit resident in us, He wants the Holy Spirit to flow through us to reach out to the world. This is very important to God and it is part of His grand plan for mankind.
A drink from the river of living water that flows from us has multiple effects. To the man at the gate called 'Beautiful', it was healing (Acts 3:1-8). To the sons of the prophet whose borrowed axe fell into River Jordan, it was restoration (2 Kings 6:1-7). To the keeper of the prison, who was guarding Paul and Silas, it was salvation to him and his household (Acts 16:25-33).
The list goes on and on. God wants everyone to drink of this living water. This is why we must allow the Holy Spirit to find expression through us. It gives Him pleasure when people drink from His living water. Jesus told the Samaritan woman in John 4:14, that "whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." That is, when the water does it's work in any life, it is permanent and will last for eternity. The affliction cannot arise a second time (Nahum 1:9). Let the living water flow from you to the world.
Keep winning daily.
Prayer:
My body is the instrument of the Holy Spirit. Out of me flows river of living water to the world. The Holy Spirit operates through me optimally to reach out to the world, bringing them healing, salvation, deliverance, restoration, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
